Palm, a 3.3 inch Tiny Phone companion to Android, iOS Smartphone
Palm, a miniature hand phone has been launched by the company, which is owned by TCL (which makes Alcatel and BlackBerry smartphones) and the hand phone acts as a act as a companion to your primary Android or iOS smartphone. The device sports a small 3.3-inch display in the times of mainstream flagship models such as iPhone XS Max ₹ 109,900 (6.5-inch) and the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 ₹ 61,900 (6.4-inch).
The Palm phone is about the size of a credit card but boasts of high pixel density LCD panel, and comes with IP68 rating, though it offers the users a minimal approach to the phone. The miniature Palm handset is priced at $350 (roughly Rs. 25,800) and will be available via Verizon Wireless in the US from November.
Both the palm handset and your “main” Android phone or iPhone will share a number. Users need to pay a monthly fee of $10 (about Rs. 700) over and above their current Verizon plan for Palm.
In terms of specifications, Palm sports small 3.3-inch HD LCD display panel with a 445ppi pixel density and is backed by Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The device runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box, while it is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 SoC processor paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.
